The Renaissance Cancer Foundation cares about the health of our patients and our community 💜
In an effort to protect our patients and our staff, the Renaissance Cancer Foundation has provided a total of 1,000 cloth masks with protective filters to all oncology patients at the DHR Health Advanced Care Center. These durable masks are much appreciated, as many cancer patients wear them year-round.
Patient Maria happily wore her mask as soon as she received one. Maria just began her treatment journey this week with both chemotherapy and radiation for her gynecologic cancer. “I’m going to use my mask to protect myself and others,” she said with a smile that peered from behind her mask.
