Meet MAGDALI
After a 28-day hospitalization earlier this year, Magdali was diagnosed with colon cancer.
Her oncology journey at the DHR Health Advanced Care Center has consisted of chemotherapy, radiation, medications — and monthly fundraisers. Family-coordinated raffles and barbeque plate sales have helped tremendously.
However, medical expenses continue along with the day-to-day, everyday needs. Approved for assistance from the Renaissance Cancer Foundation, Magdali feels joy and gratefulness for the aid.
“I feel so much relief thanks to the Foundation,” shares Magdali. “Now, my family and I can take a small break while I receive treatment. Thank you to everyone that donates!”
Magdali wishes to heal and see her three children grow into adults. Her husband, of course, is always by her side.
