ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

To raise awareness of National Colon Cancer Awareness Month, the DHR Health Advanced Care Center (oncology department) is hosting the 2nd Annual “Wipe Out  Colon Cancer” 5K event.

We invite the community to join us to celebrate hope for the healing of all colon cancer patients!  Help us spread the word on the importance of early detection.

WHY WE RUN

Net proceeds from the 2nd ANNUAL “WIPE OUT COLON CANCER” 5K will benefit the cancer patients assisted through the Renaissance Cancer Foundation.

The Renaissance Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2008. Our mission is to provide financial assistance to uninsured cancer patients in the Rio Grande Valley.

Our vision is to ease the financial burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis because all a patient should worry about is healing.
